The legendary DJ Quik continues to release dope music, and recently teamed up with fellow west-coaster Problem to create a joint project titled Rosecrans. The six-track EP features production from both artists, as well as appearances from the likes of Wiz Khalifa, The Game, and more.
One of the stand-out joints from the project is “A New Nite,” which is a take on DJ Quik’s classic track “Tonite”. Now, the west coast pair have released the video for the track.
The video begins with Quik explaining the process of updating his track for the two of them, and why the track is not a remake. The video also features the two performing the track live in multiple locations, along with footage of them doing radio spots.
The two artists make it known that they are from Compton, showing everything from city landmarks to tattoos.
