Even famous people lose their shit when they meet their idols.

From Drake catching heat for getting “curbed” by Rihanna to Kanye’s lengthy rant on a number of topics, there’s plenty of meme's floating around from the 2016 VMA's. 

But, one of the most viral moments to arise from the VMAs from the show was when during an interview with Chance the Rapper, who realized Beyonce was creeping up behind him, and subsequently freaked out. To celebrate these rare moments where the celebrities become the fans themselves, here are examples where fame turned to fandom in a matter of seconds.    

Adele and Nicki Minaj Show Mutual Admiration



This particular fangirl moment featuring Adele and Nicki Minaj was one that showcased mutual admiration for one another. When Adele appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, she decided to spit Nicki’s famous bars on the song “Monster” in a carpool karaoke sketch. Not only did the famous British singer kill it, her rendition even caught the admiration of Nicki herself, who took to social media to praise Adele for her truly #Iconic moment.

 

Mark Ruffalo Geeks Out Over Paul Rudd



Although Mark Ruffalo is quite the popular actor himself, that didn’t stop him from stopping in his tracks when he walked up on an interview with Paul Rudd at the San Diego Comic Con. “Is that Paul Rudd?” Ruffalo quietly whispers over and over again while slowly scuttling behind the actor. It’s no secret the Tyler, The Creator views Pharrell Williams as one of his biggest idols and influences. During Pharrell’s performance at the Odd Future Carnival in 2014, the producer and songwriter brought out Chad Hugo from N.E.R.D. to perform the song “Rock Star”. There’s no doubt that it was an unreal situation for Tyler, who was watching his idol perform his most classic track at his own music festival. Things must have gotten overwhelming for the outspoken rappers, who began crying in the front row while reciting every single word to the live performance of the song.

Back when the Houston rapper Travi$ Scott was recording his debut album Rodeo, he earned the opportunity to meet one of his favorite artist, Kid Cudi. According to Scott, meeting Cudder was one of the most memorable experiences of his life, and he had no shame admitting that he shed a few tears after meeting his idol from Cleveland.  

"He came and surprised me at the studio one day when I was working with A-Trak and took me on this drive in his car, played me new music," he explained. "It was one of those moments -- I was like crying in the backseat. He took me around Melrose. It was one of the craziest sh-ts ever."

In the midst of being a huge fangirl, Ealy surprised both Palmer and her viewers by popping out onto the stage with a bouquet of flowers. Needless to say, Keke Palmer flipped out when Ealy strutted out from backstage, but eventually mustered up the courage to run up and hug her celebrity crush.

During his interview at the recently held 2016 VMAs, Chance the Rapper was in the midst of jokingly telling Drake he was “coming for his muscles” when suddenly, out of the blue, Queen Bey sprung up behind him. Chance didn’t notice at first, but once Beyonce put her hand on his shoulder, the young Chicago rapper’s demeanor turned to instant excitement. The two embraced each other briefly, followed by Chance gleefully jumping around and ending the interview by yelling, “this is my life!”
