If you’re the type to get even just a little paranoid when you light up, we recommend you stay as far as you can from the NYPD’s 105th Precinct in Queens.

In a report featured in the NY Post last month, the 105th Precinct—comprised of Queens Village, Cambria Heights, Laurelton, Rosedale, Springfield Gardens, Bellerose, Glen Oaks, New Hyde Park and Floral Park—has earned the rep as being the toughest place to smoke weed in NYC. This didn’t occur overnight: over the last decade, residents of the Queens-Nassau border neighborhoods have received the most pot summonses in NYC. Just in 2016, police ticketed citizens to the tune of 1,851 times for pot possession, which is 9 percent of NYC’s total.

So, what the hell is going on? Find out more (and keep your weed at home until then if you’re in the area) as we look into the report.
