On this episode of About That Time, we were visited by the one and only Murs. We got to hear his take on racial equality on the ski slopes, international long distance romance, and quitting all other endeavors to focus all of his creative energy on making music.

In the ‘Post it Up’ segment, we saw as Murs got to visit the last standing Blockbuster Video in Bend, Oregon. We were shocked to learn that in the age of video streaming, at this archaic relic business is still booming! While he was there, they were filming “The Last Blockbuster” documentary, in which his makes a cameo.

We also got to see a preview of his newest project which debuted this week, a short film entitled, ‘The Iliad is dead, and the Odyssey is over’. Murs continues his collaborative works with 9th Wonder on this 13 minute music video with guest vocal appearances by Rapsody, Pookie Blow, $ilk Money, Heather Victoria, Reuben Vincent, GQ, and Cjo. It comes as a continuation to the synergy they found when making their premiere video ‘Walk the Line’.

After completing a 41 city tour, dropping an album, a mini film, and expecting his third child any day now, we hope that he will be able to relax and have some quality family time before getting back into whatever Murs will cook up next.

Be sure to check out both his new album, and video ‘The Iliad is dead, and the Odyssey is over’ out now, and if anyone from St. Ides is reading this, let’s get Murs and his son matching tracksuits to welcome him into the Snoopiverse!
