Charlie Murphy first hooked up with Snoop Dogg in 1995, when they starred together in Snoop’s Murder Was the Case: The Movie in 1995. By then, “Eddie’s big brother” was already an established actor, appearing in films like Harlem Nights, Mo’ Better Blues, and CB4. But it wasn’t until he starred in Chappelle’s Show that Charlie became the more popular Murphy. Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories became some of the most popular sketches on the series, and the world finally found out that the older Murphy was just as funny as his little brother.

Charlie joined Dogg on GGN in 2013 and cracked up everyone in the room with stories about crazy parties, CB4 part II, and an encounter with some racists Chappelle’s show fans. Please enjoy this special presentation of the very best of Snoop’s conversation with Charlie. He may be gone, but his stories will live forever.
