Ever since the Tennessee-based rapper Isaiah Rashad made a name for himself with his debut EP Cilvia Demo in 2014, the hip hop world has been patiently waiting to hear what the young gun had in store for his studio debut. After dropping the smooth and jazzy single “Free Lunch” back in August, Rashad made waves in the hip hop world with the release of The Sun's Tirade, which was released at the start of this month. Although it took us about two years to get the highly-anticipated album for the up and coming rapper, it was most certainly worth the wait.

The Sun’s Tirade is a brutally honest 17-track journey through Rashad’s personal battle with alcohol and drug addiction, and features collaborations with label mates Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, and SZA. Now, two weeks after the acclaimed album’s release, Rashad has just dropped a visual for the song “Park”, one of the more chilled out and hazy tracks on The Sun’s Tirade. You can watch the new video here

In the new music video, Rashad rides around in the back of a fogged out whip with his homie in the driver’s seat and a voluptuous model riding shotgun. While the trio cruises around through the night smoking blunts drinking out of brown paper bags, and playing cards, Rashad becomes animated as ever while he spits his bars from the backseat. The song itself, which manages to be both smooth and bass-heavy, is the perfect track for a late night ride and smoke session, making the video all that much more enjoyable.

So, if you’ve got the sound system warmed up and blunt prepared for lift off, but yourself in “Park” and enjoy the incredibly smooth music video and album from Top Dawg’s rising star.
