According to a Swing State Poll conducted by Quinnipiac University, in order to win three major swing states in the upcoming 2016 elections, candidates may have to stand by the legalization of marijuana. The poll reveals that a majority of voters in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania are pro-marijuana with 84% in favor in both Ohio and Florida and 88% in Pennsylvania. In an ironic twist, most of the voters are solely interested in the idea of legalization since more than 80% of people polled have said they most likely or definitely will not use themselves. This time around many doctors and health officials have made official statements supporting marijuana legalization and claiming its health benefits. These Presidential hopefuls luckily have a broader slice of American culture backing them when taking a stance for legalization.
