In this week’s ‘Meet MERRY JANE’ article, we are pleased to introduce our ‘Dispensaries’ section. The Dispensaries section on MERRY JANE allows users to search for their local dispensary, check out the menu and favorite their top shops in order to receive updates on specials and product availability.
When visting MERRY JANE’s Dispensaries section, the page will show a split-screen view. The left side of the page displays dispensary names and information in a list view. The right side of page displays the dispensary locations as they appear on a map (if viewing from a mobile device, only the list view will appear). By default, the map will start in Los Angeles, but users can search by entering a dispensary name, city name or zipcode. You can also use the ‘Locate Me’ icon in order to enable automated location services and improve accuracy.
As a user, you can choose to search for dispensary locations using the map or list view. Both features offer the same information including dispensary address, offered specials, and operating hours. In order to see this information on the map view, simply hover over a location drop pin.
In order to learn more and see the menu of a specific dispensary, click / tap on your selection to visit the detail page. Every dispensary detail page has a name, featured image, operating hours, specials, menu, location, and contact information. Some dispensaries have more information than others depending on their offering. One of the first things that you will notice on the page is the ‘Add to Favorites’ button just above the dispensary name. If this is your local dispensary and you are interested in receiving special updates and menu changes, make sure to add it to your ‘Favorites’ so that you can stay up to date on everything. You can check out all the current dispensary specials on the right side of the page.
The menu is where you can discover all the cannabis products that are offered for sale by a dispensary. Hover over a particular good to see a picture and its characteristics.
You can check out a more detailed snapshot of the dispensary location at the bottom of the page. Check out the other shops in the area to compare products and pricing. On the right hand side of the page, you will be able to check out the ‘Most Popular’ articles currently on the site. Catch up on the latest cannabis news.
If you are a dispensary owner, you can claim ownership of a page, by clicking on the ‘Claim It Now’ link on the right hand side of the page. Claiming a dispensary allows the owner to take control over all the pages features including the menu, specials and enhanced advertising features.
