Two of Kanye West’s closest cohorts have finally teamed up on a track. Many may remember John Legend as one of the original G.O.O.D. Music members, and know Chance the Rapper is one of Kanye’s current muses with a few collaborations between the Windy City natives. The pair properly collide on the lead single from Legend’s forthcoming Darkness and Light album.
“Penthouse Floor” is a smooth track that showcases John Legend’s silky vocals and Chance’s off-kilter flow. The track is an ode to escapism from the world’s problems via a life of luxury found in the various penthouses these two must frequent.
