Classically jazz trained quartet BADBADNOTGOOD rose to prominence thanks to their love for hip-hop, crafting moody beat driven production and even going so far as to produce an entire record in collaboration with Ghostface Killah, 2014’ Sour Soul.

With their latest record, IV, the Canadian trio return closer to their roots, incorporating much more clearcut jazz elements, with a good amount of soul thrown in for good measure of course. In their new video for “Chompy’s Paradise,” band member Leland “Chompy” Whitty whimsically has to figure out how to defuse a bomb strapped to his saxophone. He heeds the advice of his best friend, the very saxophone in danger of exploding.
