This episode of Smoke In The Kitchen features one of the most talented cannabis chefs we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Join us in the kitchen as Chef Dee, The Happy Chef, takes a literal page out of her new cookbook, The Happy Chef: Dr. Greenthumb, and shows us how to put a new twist on two classic recipes. Not only does Chef Dee’s new cookbook give you everything you need to know about cooking with cannabis, it also comes with a free download of B Real of Cypress Hill’s new album that features artists like Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa. With all types of recipes, you will be sure to find something you can’t wait to infuse with cannabis.

Chef Dee teaches us how to make her famous “Dee’s Grilled Cheese” and shows us how to make her “Stoner’s Spiced Cider” to wash it down with. With the help of Mama Sailene these two power women show us how to make a unique cannabis meal that anyone can appreciate. The ladies pair the delicious food with an almost more delicious sounding strain: Girl Scout Cookies. Mama Sailene picks this strain because it's a hybrid that provides the inspiration of a sativa and the strength of an indica--giving them the best of both worlds.

For the grilled cheese, you’ll need:

12 slices of bacon

Whole Wheat bread

Several slices good quality cheddar cheese per sandwich

First cut the bacon slices in half, weave them like a basket, and bake on parchment paper in an oven that’s preheated to 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until crisp.

When the bacon is ready, place the weave on top of a piece of buttered bread with double cheese, and cover with the second piece of buttered bread.

Grill until yummy.

For the cider, you’ll need:

1 stick of canna butter

2 cups brown sugar

½ teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon cinnamon

pinch of salt

pinch of ground cloves

rum

apple cider

Mix the butter, sugar and spices together and freeze so you can scoop the butter. Put two teaspoons into the bottom of the mug. Add a couple of ounces of rum. Heat the cider over a medium heat, and pour into the cup. You are not going to believe how good it smells, and how good it tastes.

Take a seat at our table and watch how these ladies dominate the cooking world and the cannabis world at the same time.
