AXIM Biotechnologies, creators of CanChew, one of the first cannabinoid (CBD) chewing gums, has introduced an upgraded version of their popular CBD chewing gum.  The gum contains 10mg of cannabidiol (CBD).  CBD is known as the non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant.  In other words, this gum is not going to get you high in the traditional sense.

Selected from a pool of over 400 patients, 40 trial patients, aged 18-65, will be subject to a randomized, double-blind, cross-over trial of 8 weeks. Patients will receive a maximum 6 chewing gums per day, either containing 50 mg of cannabidiol per chewing gum in case of the CanChew chewing gum, or a placebo chewing gum. Effects on patient’s symptoms will be monitored closely with results to follow in the coming weeks.

This gum is not necessarily for you if you are looking to get stoned, even if you have a super high tolerance or even if you are someone's grandma.  AXIM claims that this gum will not get you high even if you eat 10 pieces.  It is made for people who primarily use cannabis for medicinal use.
