Trolls Went to Work After Lay’s Asked the Internet to Suggest New Potato Chip Flavors

Every year, Lay’s figures out that they don’t have enough flavors on grocery store shelves, and decides that the citizens of the internet should be responsible for choosing the next variety of potato chip. That’s when they start up the ‘Do Us a Flavor’ competition and ask for a little help.

The competition is responsible for head-scratching flavors such as New York Reuben, Southern Biscuits and Gravy, and yes, even Cappuccino flavored potato chips. This year’s competitors aren’t much better, with Margarita Madness, Buffalo Dip and Guaca-Salsa looking like early favorites.

Of course, most of these munchies aren’t anywhere near edible, and were definitely made just for giggles. But hey – if Cappuccino flavored chips made it to supermarket shelves, who’s to say that "Alligator Butter" won’t be the next Lay’s best seller.
