Nike’s Air Force 1 was originally released in 1982 and this November the brand of brands looks to open up a new chapter in the silhouette’s legacy. Taking inspiration from the ever-popular military aesthetic, the new winter-ready iteration of the sneaker sees it provided with a raised collar akin to the Nike SFB field boot, resulting in an upper comprised of ballistic nylon and full grain leather.
Additional features to this striking new model include a tongue that doubles as a hidden pocket, heavy duty boot-like eyelets, and a duo of rugged removable straps to lock you in tight for the imminent frigid winter months. As an added bonus the woven straps double as a handle for a military-inspired tote that comes with the purchase of the sneaker.
The new shoe will release in four separate colorways. Gents can look forward to Nike releasing Faded Olive/Gum and Black/Gum colorways, while ladies can look forward to the Light Bone/Sail and Golden Beige/Linen colorways.
The Special Field Air Force One will be releasing at select locations and via the Nike SNKRS app on November 5.
