While WKND may have crept into skateboarding’s’ collective psyche for good when the legendary Eric Koston briefly had a guest board with them shortly after leaving his long-time board sponsor Girl, their team is legitimately full of ripper. Their new edit, “Who’s to Say,” shared yesterday via Thrasher, is a testament to how skilled their team is.

While the squad is definitely talented, one of their riders is on a completely different stratosphere; the one and only Austyn Gillette. It was unclear for some time where he would end up following his departure prior to Habitat’s move to Tum Yeto (thanks to the folding of Habitat and Alien Workshop’s DNA Distribution parent company) but he landed firmly on his feet at both HUF and WKND. The footage in this is just about the most we’ve seen from Gillette since his introduction to HUF’s ranks a year ago. He does everything to perfection, and without spoiling too much, he has a full part that includes a half-cab flip lofted over a fence that is simply a thing of beauty.

Watch “Who’s to Say” here to see Austyn fly above the rest, as well as some solid skating from the likes of Taylor Caruso, Christian Maalouf, Andrew Considine, Grant Yansura, Yohan Stuckey, Raymond Molinar, Trevor Thompson, Jordan Taylor and Alex Schmidt.
