Can Congress Get High?

The United States Congress plays an extremely important role in cannabis legalization, particularly in the preservation of states’ rights. Earlier this year, in a new budget bill, members of Congress included a provision, known as the Rohrabacher-Farr amendment, to prevent anti-pot Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Department of Justice from spending a dime to interfere with state medical marijuana laws.

But while these senators and representatives protect states from the feds, can they get high? Reporting from Capitol Hill, MERRY JANE News correspondent Brooke Burgstahler breaks down the particulars of cannabis and Congress.
