A new poll shows that voters in Virginia, Iowa and Colorado back the legalization of medicinal marijuana. Though reportedly, the three states disagree about other pressing issues like taxes, gay marriage and abortion, Virginia, Iowa and Colorado find common ground on the support of medicinal marijuana.

It’s no surprise that Colorado backs marijuana and voters in Virginia support it as well. Iowa voters, however, remain split on whether to legalize small possession of cannabis for personal use. “Colorado voters support the legalization of medical marijuana — 89 percent to 8 percent. Iowa voters back it by a margin of 87 percent to 11 percent, and Virginia voters support it 86 percent to 11 percent.”
