With a constant influx of legalization news, sometimes, it’s easy to forget and forgo the details. Oregon is hoping to make the transition into green life a little easier for everyone with a new PSA effort they released two weeks prior to July 1st, the official date that the policy will be effective.
In a new video series called “Educate Before You Recreate,” the PSA reminds residents of Oregon that July 1st means people over the age of 21 can use, and possess it, but it won’t be legal to sell or purchase in an officially capacity until fall of 2016. Additionally, moving marijuana across state lines (even to Washington, where it is legal) is not allowed.
