Smokin’ Style Statement: Tetra x Various Keytags Lighter

Take your lighter to the next level with this new collaboration.

Just in time for the holidays, the perfect stocking stuffer for the smoker in your life has arrived at Tetra, the designer online smoke shop that opened in September to fashion-world acclaim

Tetra approached Brian Janusiak and Elizabeth Beer — the likeminded brains behind the multidisciplinary creative studio Various Projects — as longtime fans and owners of the tongue-in-cheek keychains themselves.

With “questions of distribution, digression, and the creation of fluctuating communities” as the reoccurring themes of Various Projects’ work in their New York City-based boutique Project No. 8 (including an outpost at the Ace Hotel on 29th Street), every single one of its witty stamped key chains is worth a thousand words

“We’re always thinking about the social aspect of the smoking ritual and loved the idea that these could be conversation-starters and not just fire-starters,” says Tetra co-founder Eviana Hartman. “Our Tsubota Pearl polycarbonate lighters have already been super-popular this holiday season and we thought they'd make an ideal canvas for their engraving technique.”

The limited edition lighters are exclusive to Tetra and available in four colors and phrases: “HIGH SOCIETY" (green), “HIGH FUNCTIONING” (pink), “NEED A LIGHT” (black) and “SMOKE ‘EM IF YOU GOT ‘EM (blue).

Finding a flame just got so much more fun.

Tetra x Various Keytags Lighter, $45, shop-tetra.com.
