Snoop is definitely no stranger to the talk show circuit. The world’s stoniest entertainer has been a guest on late night shows since the mid ‘90s, and has carved out his own niche as the hazy host of GGN News. So when the Doggfather visits prime time network giants like Conan O’Brien’s Late Night, you’d better believe that the Hollywood hosts know how to prepare for Snoop’s inevitable backstage hotbox.

In his latest public catch-up with Conan this week, the TBS host spent half the interview telling the audience about the special set-up needed to make sure the show’s studio stayed smoke-free during Snoop’s visit.

“Unlike most of our other guests who stay within feet of the stage, we’ve had some problems in the past when you and your group of friends show up, with the ventilation in the building. So in preparation for you coming we set up your own trailer, which is really far (from the set), but you’re comfortable with that?”

Snoop, ever the team player, was perfectly happy with the special accommodations.

“I loved it, the fire alarms don’t work and everything,” Snoop offered.

Conan continued by telling Snoop and the audience that the only other guest important enough to warrant their own smoking trailer was country legend and honorary Dogg Pound member Willie Nelson. Of course, Snoop was already sporting a Willie’s Reserve cap in support of his fellow ganjapreneur chart-topper when he learned of their exclusive treatment.

Thankfully, no such precautions are necessary on Snoop’s own GGN, where guests and host alike smoke as much weed as possible, on air and off.
