Chris Brown was on his way to Cannes Film Festival until his private plane was reportedly delayed when the pilot smelled marijuana coming from the cabin.

The police were called to the site as Brown and his companions were allegedly kicked off of the flight after law enforcement smelled the aroma as well. No arrests have been made.

“We got kicked off the jet for smokin’ too loud,” one of Brown’s crew wrote on a Snapchat post.

The TMZ report stated, “The smell of smoke was so strong, the pilot had to open all the doors to air out the aircraft.”

Chris Brown responded to TMZ in an Instagram video denying the ordeal, "How the hell we in Cannes if we got escorted off a plane?" he asked after their arrival at Cannes.

"Marijuana smoke on a plane? I think we learned our lesson. I don't think we really need drugs on the plane."

Brown went on to accuse the pilot of attempting to acquire cocaine off of his group. "You should probably check with the pilot, because he definitely kept asking my homies for an 8-ball, and we definitely don't sell drugs."

He affirmed that although his entourage looks intimidating with their gold chains and watches with tough-looking tattoos, he does not need to sell drugs to earn his wealth, “So, I’ma be rich, stay rich and happy.”

Almost immediately after responding to the report, Brown posted a video promoting his new song with T-Pain so I guess he is over it and taking full advantage of the media attention.
