The Game has purchased a custom painting he commissioned honoring the late rock star Prince for a price of $65,000.

The rapper—who almost recorded with several years ago—contacted artist Madsteez on the day of Prince’s death and commissioned the painting in honor of the late singer. The 8 ft. x 6 ft. portrait reportedly took more than 100 hours to finish.

Prince passed away at his Paisley Park home in Chanhassen, Minnesota on April 21. He was 57 years old. It is unclear what caused his death and the details may not be released for several months.
