The world has long known about the fiery love affair between man and the lovely lady named Mary Jane through song, but the ladies love Mary Jane too! So much so, we've compiled a list of eight songs dedicated to God's given gift to the world, written by women.

From Jhené Aikoto Bob Marley's widow Rita Marley, they've all expressed their deep affection for marijuana through cerebral songs that penetrate the mind as if actually smoking on the delicate herb.

She's helped us through everything from tough break-ups, when Mother Nature hath no fury upon our ovaries, financial woes, depression and just the need of getting through the day without breaking down into tears. Even through the good times of attending concerts or getting a good night's sleep. She's been a good friend to us all.

Here are eight songs that were prove women love Mary Jane.
