Initially gaining attention thanks to their excellent mashup mixtapes, Chicago duo The Hood Internet stepped it up a notch and started releasing original production in 2012, when their debut album FEAT dropped.
ABX and STV SLV are presently joining forces with ShowYouSuck, in the form of a collaborative group called Air Credits. The Chicago emcee ShowYouSuck was previously FEATured (pun entirely intended) on the standout track “Nothing Should Be A Surprise,” which also included Isaiah Toothtaker.
Following “All I Need,” and “Passport,” Air Credits have now shared the third single off the soon to be released BROADCASTED, the environmentally friendly “So Heavy.”
While the track ponders how (and if) plants might continue to grow in the future when the planet's water supply runs even more scarce, there are many not so subtle references to our favorite kind of greenery over at MERRY JANE. The production rolls gently along, muted keys creating a lovely melody while ShowYouSuck rides over the enchanting beat with an appropriately mellow flow.
