So good for staring at.

Today, Local Natives tossed the world “Coins,” the latest single off the L.A.-based band’s  upcoming album, Sunlit Youth. The LP is slated for release on Sept. 9 via Loma Vista Recordings and marks the group’s third full-length release since the excellent 2006 debut, Gorilla Manor, which was followed by the somewhat underwhelming Hummingbird in 2013.

Local Natives shared “Coins” through the elegant and simple visual accompaniment of a lyric video, in which the soulful and folk-tinged song’s words appear blurrily across a swirling landscape of morphing pastel waves.

While the color palette feels appropriate, the psychedelic visuals might be more at home with a Tame Impala soundtrack. The song is great, though, and a wavy video is always a feast for the eyes, so we’ll happily snack on it!

Watch “Coins” below and pre-order Sunlit Youth if you like what you hear.
