Drake’s seventh annual OVO fest was filled with special surprises, but none bigger than an announcement made during night 2 of the star studded event. Drizzy brought out Kanye West during his set, and Kanye posed a question to the thousands of fans in attendance. “Are y’all ready for this album?” he proclaimed. “I’m not talking about Pablo. I’m not talking about Views. Are y’all ready for this album?” he asked while pointing to Drake.

The question posed indicates that the two superstars are indeed working on a joint album. In an interview with Zane Lowe earlier this year, Drake said that the pair have been working on music together. Perhaps the stars have finally aligned and we will see a Drizzy x Yeezy project. The monumental announcement has the social feeds running amok as anticipation builds for what will come of this rumored collaboration. Stay tuned.
