A while ago, Havoc of Mobb Deep and Alchemist dropped a joint called “Buck 50s & Bullet Wounds” featuring Method Man. This track set the tone for what was to come on the alleged collaborative album between Havoc and Alchemist. Now, the joint album between the two rapping producers is here in the form of The Silent Partner.
The 11-track album showcases a variety of eerie and brooding cinematic beats from Alchemist, who produced the project in its entirety. Havoc’s ability to create chilling stories to match the production is what makes this project worth a listen. Not to mention, Havoc held down the rapping, with limited features. The artists who were featured on the project like Method Man, Prodigy, and Cormega, definitely shine just as bright as Havoc does.
