When internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Beyonce isn’t dropping chart-topping surprise albums and hanging out with the likes of Chance the Rapper, Queen Bey is running the world’s most in-demand family with her husband and famed rapper Jay Z and their daughter Blue Ivy. Back in April, the 35-year-old pop star released her unannounced visual album Lemonade, the second highest selling record of 2016 behind Drake’s Views.
Although Beyonce has remained relatively low-key since the release of her sixth studio album, her latest music video shows that she’s been taking care of what’s most important, her family. The recently released visual was is back by the song “All Night”, a standalone track off of Lemonade.
The music video opens with a visually compelling introduction, featuring an optimistic and empowering speech by Beyonce. After the spine-tingling spoken word session, the video takes us back and forth between a majestic field of powerful women and home footage of her life with Jay Z and Blue Ivy.
Out of the heartwarming moments shown in the music video, the most memorable are the clips with her daughter Blue Ivy and the handful from her wedding night with Jay Z. One scene even shows a much younger Beyonce and Jay Z getting matching “IV” tattoos, a lucky number of sorts that represents the day of their marriage (April 4), as well as their birthdays (Bey in September and Jay in December). Another touching throwback clip shows their adorable daughter Blue Ivy hand-feeding her father on her birthday.
Not only does Beyonce’s new video let you into her family’s personal life, it also seems dismiss the various rumors of infidelity and marital problems that her and Jay Z have been accused of by gossip rags. Although Beyonce seems to be focused on spending family time after wrapping up her Formation Tour earlier this year, she’s already rumored to be headlining Coachella 2017 along with Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead.
In her new visual for “All Night”, Beyonce shows the world that even though she and Jay Z are celebrities, they’re just a normal happy family at the end of the day.
