A staple for Thanksgiving dinner is cranberry sauce, no matter what you are serving this is a must and goes with everything. It is important to find the right sweet to sour balance to get the perfect sauce. The orange juice adds a great tang undertone and really makes the sauce what it is. The consistency should be similar to jam.

Adding a small amount of cannabutter will give your cranberry sauce pizzazz. Make sure if you use a cannabis infused oil, to do something with a neutral taste like coconut or walnut oil. Olive oil and other strong flavored oils will change the taste of your sauce.

Whether you Thanksgiving meal is vegan, vegetarian, or for omnivores, this cranberry sauce belongs in your spread.

Mix all ingredients together in a sauce pan. Heat on medium high and cover until cranberries start to pop. Once most of the cranberries have popped, remove the lid and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally to make sure the bottom does not burn. Once you are happy with the consistency, add in the cannabutter mixing well. Taste the sauce and add more sweetener or orange juice if necessary.
