Young Thug’s rise to superstardom has been both rapid and extraordinary. This year alone, the Atlanta artist has seen his popularity soar due in large part to his relentless work ethic and off-kilter persona. Thugger’s latest video for his Slime Season 3 standout “Memo”, reads like a highlight reel. The video takes viewers through his greatest moments with a fictional newspaper dubbed the “Slime Times”. Noteworthy moments for the rapper in 2016 which are documented in the video includes reflections on his smash hit “Best Friend” going viral and garnering platinum status, his sold out tour run, an appearance in the Yeezy Season 3 show, starring in Calvin Klein’s latest campaign, as well as his reunion with Gucci Mane upon the Trap God’s release. Even though the second half of 2016 is just underway, it looks as though we have yet to see the best of Young Thug.
