Lucasfilm has big plans to turn the character of Han Solo into a major film franchise. It’s the kind of high-profile role that can make a career, so Directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord saw over 3,000 auditions for the first film of the series. Though the role eventually went to actor Alden Ehrenreich, Conan O’Brien spoofed a few audition tapes with a little help from some of his friends. Included in the video you’ll find hilarious takes from actors Bill Hader, Will Arnett, Melissa McCarthy, Jodie Foster, Adam Sandler, and even 50 Cent for the role of Young Han Solo. The Power star had trouble gripping blaster and hilarity ensues.
