Cannabis and sports have always maintained somewhat of a rocky relationship. However, for one lucky newcomer, it seems as though his liking to Mary Jane hasn’t been a detriment for his sports career after all. Phil Bickford, a Southern California native, was a top pick during this year’s MLB draft and was selected by San Francisco’s Giants even despite the fact that he tested positive for marijuana in his pre-draft test.
A congratulations is on order for Phil and his forthcoming season with the Giants. Here’s to grabbing wins and avoiding positive tests.
