San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has just landed, and it’s time to nerd up for this year’s event. It’s time to light up and put your cosplay suits on to enjoy SDCC and all the events it has to offer. Every year San Diego Comic-Con has some of the best costumes and along with some of the best weed, it's a great pairing. Here at MERRY JANE we have everything covered for our readers who will be in sunny San Diego this year:

What’s Coming Out…?

Star Trek Beyond – The cast from Star Trek will be on hand promoting the newest movie that will be coming out this weekend called Star Trek Beyond. This is one of the biggest movies being promoted at SDCC so the whole cast, like Chris Pine and Idris Elba, will be there.

Star Wars – The latest installment of Star Wars will be coming out later this year and Lucasfilm’s never disappoints at SDCC. Word around town is that they will be revealing a main character for “Rogue One” at SDCC so be sure to tune in to the news this weekend.

Game of Thrones – A good portion of the producers and stars from the show will be on hand Friday afternoon for a panel at SDCC. The cast will be discussing season 6 and beyond so those interested in GOT should be prepared for Jon Snow to possibly show up.

Walking Dead - For those into the zombie series can take a picture at the scene of the last episode where Negan is deciding which cast member to to kill ...

What's There To Do In The Area…?

Petco Park – The third year of Camp Conival will be held here featuring Nerdist Laser Tag, Geek and Sundry archery course, board games and plenty of giveaways throughout the event. Some stars will also be on hand so head on over to this free event. If you’re trying to nerd out this is a great place to drink and meet the cast of Agents of Shield.

Nintendo Gaming Lounge – This is going to be held at the Marriot Marquis and Marine again where con goers can play some of the most popular Nintendo games including Super Smash Bros. and for those into the Pokémon Go craze, there might be some big surprises. This event is also free to the public.

Where's A Good Place To Eat…?

The Field Irish Pub – This restaurant is always filled with Comic-Con themed items on their menu, and their Shepards Pie will have you drooling for more. This sits at the heart of San Diego’s Gaslamp quarter and can’t be missed from Comic-Con’s location.

Stone Brewing – The guys over at Stone are brewing a special concoction just for SDCC with Star Trek star Wil Wheaton called the Wootstout. It will only be available during the Hop-Con 4.0: the wOOtstout festival, which sits right next to Petco Park.
