While most of us are struggling to find a silver lining to last night’s shocking Presidential election results, there could to some good news today from The Forgotten Borough of Staten Island for all the Wu-Tang Clan fans out there.

Despite Staten Island having voted overwhelmingly for the Trump Train with over 57% of their votes, it would appear that the Shaolin hailing Wu-Tang Clan's 2014 album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin may finally see public light of day.

Promoted as a “one-of-a-kind” album, as in there is only one copy of it, it was auctioned off in 2014, eventually being bought by disgraced former hedge fund manager and Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO Martin Shkreli for $2 million. His claim to “fame” was rising the price of a particular HIV medication by 5,000%, as well being charged with securities fraud last year. Since then, no one has head any of the album save for Shkreli.

At the end of last month, Shkreli announced via Twitter, that if Trump were to win the Presidential Election. So far he’s lived to his word, and took to Periscope early Wednesday morning to share snippets of the album.

Watch a few clips from his broadcast here, and let’s hope he somehow releases the full project. As great as it would be to hear Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, we’d gladly trade that for a different result in the election.
