Coconut water and environmentally-conscious collective, Villager Goods, has enlisted Chocolate Skateboards veteran Kenny Anderson as one of its company’s ambassadors. The union between the man and the brand gets a thoughtful and cinematic treatment via a newly released short film by Lydia Graymor that premiered via The Berrics.

In the piece, Anderson describes how being born and raised in Las Vegas, getting into skateboarding, touring to other states, and eventually acquiring the opportunity to turn professional for Planet Earth Skateboards, opened him up to a brand new world of travel and environmental self-realization.

The 41 year-old skater is now the quintessential poster man for healthy and environmentally-sound living. Not only is Anderson is a vegan but he also grows his own veggies and even managed to convert his vintage Mercedes-Benz to run on used cooking oil. Given the challenging times that we’re living in, Kenny’s way of doing things is both an impressive and inspiring way to see and live within our wounded world.

Skateboarders and non-skateboarders can—and likely should—all equally take heed.
