Most of you are probably familiar with the John Hughes cult classic comedy Ferris Buehler’s Day Off (starring Matthew Broderick, Mia Sara and Alan Ruck) but what you probably didn’t know, is that its excellent soundtrack was never released.

Thanks to La-La Land Records, you will be able to pre-order the soundtrack, which includes both the original Ira Newborn score as well as the songs from the movie that we remember so vividly including tracks from The Flowerpot Men, Blue Room, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Yello, The Dream Academy and Wayne Newton.

The pre-release begins on September 13th, but don’t sleep on it, as it will be limited to only 5,000 copies. So don’t be a Rooney and put it in your calendar!
