It was a star-studded night at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia for the 2016 Creative Coalition Gala headlined by Pop-star Fergie.

MERRY JANE's News Editor Sasha Horne files this report from the red carpet where guests, including actor Billy Baldwin and Richard Kind had some harsh words for Donald Trump.

Others, including Glee's Kevin McHale expressed their views on the impact of arts in evoking social change.

The DJ kept the tunes flowing as the hundreds of special invited guests sipped cocktails and mingled eagerly awaiting Fergie to take the stage. The songstrees owned the performance singing new tracks from her forthcoming album Double Dutchess and classics includuing "Humps" and "Big Girls Don't Cry."
