It’s not even July yet and across the country thermometers have already started to push their mercury past the century mark. But as it becomes clearer and clearer that global warming won’t wait for our politicians to wise up, we must find non-scientific ways to deal with the early summer heat. Thankfully, that’s why we have DJ Khaled, the 21st century’s ‘Song of the Summer’ maistro, to remind us there’s still good reason to leave the confines of our air conditioned homes.

In what will no doubt be the song dominating this summer’s day parties, pool parties, smoke-outs and barbeques, Khaled is joined by everyone’s favorite stoner pop-star, Rihanna, and a crooning Bryson Tiller for “Wild Thoughts.” With those chart-topping super powers and an infectiously danceable guitar sample from Carlos Santana’s “Maria, Maria,” it’s pretty safe to say that Khaled found himself another one.

And if the song itself doesn’t make you want to sleep all day and dance all night, the video definitely will. The Collin Tilley directed visual is all tropical island vibes and humidity, with live guitars, fireworks and sweat galore. Of course, Rihanna steals the show, dancing her way through the video even when Bryson is singing or Khaled is yelling.

Check out the whole video above and get ready for three more months of wild thoughts.
