The documentary (whose title is a play on words of their second album De La Soul Is Dead) brought to us by Mass Appeal, is set not only to give us an insight into De La Soul’s rich history and revered catalogue, but will also explore sample clearance issues that have prevented some of De La’s Discography from being available on major streaming platforms.

Watch the trailer for De La Soul Is Not Dead. The full documentary will release on September 7th. You can also check out their brand new record and the Anonymous Nobody here.
