The only way to experience the Caribbean.

There are few opportunities to see decades of classic reggae acts all together in one paradisiacal setting, but if that's your dream this year, then you are in luck. On Monday, December 12, Damian “Junior Gong” Marley announced the line-up for the Royal Caribbean's 4th annual “Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise” scheduled for November 13-18, 2017. Last year, the cruise sold out for the third consecutive year in a row.

"Welcome to the third annual Jamrock Reggae Cruise, be safe, one love, Rastafari," Damian Marley announced to a roaring crowd aboard the Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas near South Florida.

The lineup includes Damian Marley's older brother Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Sizzla, Jah Cure, Luciano, The Big Ship Crew (ft. Freddie McGregor, Stephen “Di Genius” Mcgregor and Chino McGregor), Bounty Killer, Tarrus Riley, Cocoa Tea, Busy Signal, Popcaan, Inner Circle, Richie Spice, Tanto Metro & Devonte, Pressure, Spice, Iba Mahr. A total of 25 artists spanning 50 years of timeless reggae, ska and dancehall music will grace the cruise ship event.

Both Damian and Stephen Marley have dipped their toes into the lucrative cannabis market with Ocean Grown Extracts and Marley Natural. "What we are really looking at for next year is to have a few more ladies on the bill," Marley added. Last year's lineup only included two women, Marcia Griffiths of the I-Threes and the emcee Nikki Z.

The cruise liner will make two stops in Ochos Rios and Montego Bay, Jamaica, before returning to the Miami area on November 18, 2017.

If you've never experienced a cruise ship like the "Independence of the Seas," you haven't really lived. 15 decks boast 1,817 cabins with plentiful perks for their guests. You can catch some waves on the cruise's FlowRider surf machine, enjoy the cantilevered whirlpools or skate in the onboard ice skating rink. There's also a basketball court, mini golf course, rock climbing wall and the two-story Alahambra Theater.

Reggae fans from over 40 nations attended last year's cruise. Tickets go fast, so reserve your ticket now.
