Chief Keef Arrested in Marijuana-Related DUI
The Chicago artist didn’t seem too concerned after Miami cops booked him for allegedly driving high.

Chief Keef was arrested this past weekend when police in Miami, Florida stopped the rapper and his friends for what appeared to be a marijuana transaction.

According to TMZ, Keef, or Keith Cozart as he’s known by the government, was driving a green Lamborghini when the car’s passenger hopped out and gave a bag of marijuana to someone in a car behind them.

Cops apparently saw the transaction and stopped both cars and found what appeared to be weed and codeine cough syrup.

Keef was arrested for DUI after the police say the rapper, famous for hits like ‘I Hate Being Sober’ had “bloodshot, watery, droopy eyes” and failed a sobriety test.

Still, Keef didn’t seem too worried about the arrest, reportedly telling police “It's okay. When you find weed in my urine I'll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card."

And while it might seem a little arrogant, Keef is correct that there aren’t any ironclad ways for the cops to prove that he was under the influence of marijuana at the time or arrest, even if he were to test positive after the fact.

Seemingly aware of that point, Keef even told cops “you’ll find weed in me” during the arrest.

Only time will tell if Keef and his lawyers are able to actually beat the DUI rap, but until then, we’ll be pulling our “Free Sosa” shirts out of storage, just in case.
