During a recent interview with W, Andrew Garfield related a crazy birthday adventure that involved Disneyland, pot, and his ex-girlfriend, actress Emma Stone. In the interview, part of W's “Screen Tests” series, the 33-year-old actor recounted how he, Stone, and eight other friends ate pot brownies and headed to Disneyland for his 29th birthday in 2012.

“My 29th birthday, weirdly, was perfect,” Garfield recalled. “It was heaven. I was with my favorite people in the world, I was with eight of my closest friends — I’m just gonna tell you this straight up — they came to LA to surprise me… we went to Disneyland and we ate pot brownies. It was literally heaven.”

The brownies inspired Garfield to take on Space Mountain three times in a row, and then to discover that it really is “a fucking small world” while on the “It's a Small World” ride. The fun didn't stop there, though. “We were walking through Fantasyland and there was a song that was playing out of the trees and we were all doing this, dancing through, and I think at one point we all started to look around going, ‘We’re all doing the same dance, how did this happen?’”

Now that recreational weed is legal in California, perhaps Disneyland will be open to offering up special brownies for its adult visitors. Mickey Mouse could definitely take a break from his helium addiction in favor of something mellower.
