Gone, but not forgotten.
This past October 12th, skateboarding lost one of it’s finest when 28 year old Dylan Rieder succumbed to leukemia following a tough 2 year battle. Universally adored for his style, energy and unreal abilities, his death has hit the skateboard community very hard.
Soundtracked by the melancholic sounds of Roger Water
s and Warren Zevon
, this trip down memory lane is bound to make those familiar with the impact he had on skateboarding shed a tear or two, or perhaps as is inked on Dylan’s hand, smile.
In lieu of sending flowers, Dylan’s family requests donations be made in his memory to Dr. Stephen Forman. Please address checks to; City of Hope, in memo line: to Dr. Stephen Forman for Dylan Rieder.
