After dropping the track "Threatening Nature" and unveiling the tracklist for his upcoming album DWTW, Ab-Soul is right on his fans' asses with another joint from the album titled "D.R.U.G.S." The meaning behind the acronym for "D.R.U.G.S." is revealed in the first 10 seconds of the video, and it stands for "Don't Ruin Us God Said."

Over some bouncy-yet-cinematic piano-driven production, Ab-Soul speaks on everything he loves like his mama, his cousins, and music, but notes that none of that compares to his love of drugs. In the video, we see Soulo in different spaces that resemble what one would see while under the influence of select drugs. From the black-and-white views, to the visual effect of Ab-Soul's face seemingly melting– the video covers a lot of sensations.

Soul's rhymes match perfectly with the visuals, especially when he makes it clear that he does not need any type of drugs to accomplish any goal that is pending in his life. The finishing touch in the music video is at the end where the rapper drives home the line about loving his mama back home. At the end of the video, Ab-Soul makes it known how much he cares for his moms by checking in with her via a phone call while in Paris.
