The final two shows of the 311 Summer Tour 2016 will wrap up at Reggae on the Rocks at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO with Iration, Steel Pulse, Morgan Heritage, and more on August 27 and the American Music Festival with Ozomatli and RDGLDGRN on September 2.

The quintessential kings of reggae/rock have been traveling the country with Matisyahu all summer and continue to set the bar high for those who wish to bring the perfect blend of hard riffs and mellow moods to any stage.

The pure talent of Nick Hexum and company proves why 311 has been a staple in the industry for over two decades.

The band recently made its mark in the cannabis industry by releasing the Grassroots Uplifter v2 pen in conglomeration with Uplifter Innovations in California.  The model is in response to the high demand for a rechargeable edition to the Grassroots Uplifter disposable.

Two years of development has led to a state-of-the-art smoking experience.  The pen is currently only available in California, and will be hitting the legal cannabis markets in Oregon and Colorado shortly.

311 made a appearance at Have a Heart in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle to celebrate the release.  The highly successful “access point” has been the leader in quality cannabis for Washington State throughout its extensive medical program and will be one of the best places to purchase recreational weed for years to come.

Eric Schoep, a cannabis consultant in the area in addition to being a music journalist, was covering the meet and greet before the show.

He says many fans, including himself, purchased the Grassroots Uplifter v2 at Have a Heart in addition to the show later that night at the Showbox SoDo.  The pens were filled with the locally produced Evergreen Extracts CO2 oil.

“The band was stopped multiple times when leaving Have a Heart.  The Seattle show was a late add and ended the tour but there was still a huge turnout,” Schoep said as he reminisced of the experience.
