This has been a huge week for weed!

First New Orleans decriminalizes marijuana, and now presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton has finally set the record straight on her stance on legalization.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, Clinton said the best move is to remove weed from the list of Schedule I substances so more research can be done on its benefits.

Still, Clinton's stance on ganja isn't quite as progressive as her Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, who has called for legalziation across the board.

"I think what the states are doing right now needs to be supported," Clinton said in the interview. "But I want to see what the states learn from that experience because there are still a lot of questions that we have to answer at the federal level."

In the interview, Kimmel also mentions Snoop Dogg's reported endorsement of Clinton, which happened earlier last year. Snoop hasn't confirmed where he stands now in this rapidly changing political landscape, but it was a good plug for Clinton.
