The gears of justice turn slowly, and apparently, they turn even slower when weed is involved. Despite an overwhelming majority of Floridians voting for the medicinal legalization of marijuana last November, state politicians have added a major roadblock to the process. Governor Rick Scott endorsed an additional provision in the amendment excluding smoking from the legalization process.
What does this mean for Florida’s ganja advocates? Right now, smoking medical marijuana anywhere, even in your home, is illegal.
