Three police officers from Santa Ana, CA face vandalism and petty theft charges after reportedly smashing five surveillance cameras and lenses during a drug raid at Sky High Holistic and then eating what were thought to be cookies that were laced with THC.

Two of the three officers, Jorge Arroyo, 32 and Nicole Lynn Quijas, 37, face a maximum sentence of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for petty theft while the other officer, Brandon Matthew, 31, faces up to 18 months in jail and a $2,000 fine for petty theft and misdemeanor vandalism for smashing the cameras and lenses.

A video surfaced after the raid showing the officers joking about kicking an amputee in a wheelchair and eating items from the dispensary's break room which the dispensaries lawyers claimed were THC-laced edibles. In the tape, the officers are seen playing darts and joking around.

All three officers were placed on paid administrative leave shortly after pending the outcome of the appeals.

The District Attorney’s office contends by saying that the items taken from the dispensary were Detour Simple protein bars and Mr. Thinster’s cookies.

"Snacks from the break room, that's there for staff. They're accused of taking protein bars and cookies," said Roxi Fyad, a spokesperson for the Orange County District Attorney's Office.

While the dispensary's attorney said that the appropriate measures were taken against the officers, they still stood by the fact the officers ate THC-laced edibles. So far there's been no word on what has been done to the officers since the ordeal, or if they have been fired but what should have been a raid looked like it turned into a bizarre pot party.
