ALIFE is known across the globe for its special edition releases from top brands.

The New York City-based sneaker boutique's collaborations are always interesting, mainly because of who they choose to team up with. From Nas to Saucony, ALIFE has created great work with many. Now, the brand has come together with hip hop legend and avid marijuana smoker Redman to release a special capsule collection that will be available for a limited time only.

Redman a.k.a. Reggie Noble and his musical efforts during his time on Def Jam Records and beyond live up to his last name for sure. Also, before Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y made weed a prominent part of their lifestyle and brand, Redman had already paved the way for the two to rhyme about marijuana.

The capsule collection includes a t-shirt which features a photo of the Newark, New Jersey rapper in ALIFE gear. Also in the capsule is a poster of the rapper with a young woman’s legs wrapped around him. Both of these items are now available at ALIFE.

Redman for Alife® Limited edition t-shirt and poster, available in store and online May 12th. Redman, aka Reggie Noble, aka Funk Doctor Spock, is one of the most important figures to emerge from the golden era of hip-hop. After being discovered in the early ‘90s by Erick Sermon of EPMD, Redman rose to stardom on Def Jam Records. Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, Red’s rugged Brick City flow and lyrical wordplay are shining examples of East Coast excellence, but it was his sharp sense of humor that would later propel him to fame in other areas including TV and film. Redman starred alongside Method Man in 2001’s quintessential stoner flick How High, and his low-budget episode of MTV Cribs is widely considered the greatest of all time (and completely real, for the record).
