In the past, Ab-Soul has voiced his frustrations about the release of his music, even going as far as having disagreements with his label head via Twitter. Despite the back and forth, Soulo dropped a few tracks to build up anticipation for his album like "Huey Knew" and "Braille" featuring J. Cole's Dreamville artist Bas.

The track begins with a prayer-like chant that leads into Ab-Soul spewing rhymes reminiscent of the flows he crafted on his Control System album. Soulo questions passages from the Bible, the sexuality of the person who invented the American flag and even conducts his own examination of sexism in a few bars by saying "And we don't speak on sexism as much as we really should // The black man could vote before the woman could // You sing hymns in church, I'm looking for the hers // 66 books in the Bible, they ain't let a lady say one word // Hillary Clinton is out somewhere tryna get ahead in the senate // I'm getting head and I'm sinning, nigga I'm threatening nature."
